RIDE THE WAVE OF NEGATIVE MOTIVATION TO THE TOP

RIDE THE WAVE OF NEGATIVE MOTIVATION TO THE TOP

Have you ever been so excited about a new discovery that you felt everyone close to you ought to know? Have you ever had a moment where you thought you had information that would revolutionalize your world and couldn’t wait to tell someone special?  Have you also had someone you thought would be so excited for you and would want to be a part of your journey suck all the air in the room when you told him/her about your dream, vision, or epiphany? Well, I have and it was one of the most awkward experiences I’ve ever had.

When I was still trying to navigate this whole journey, I remember thinking, there’s got to be a way.  There has to be something more than this. How is everyone else doing it? I mean, I know there are a lot of posers, there are a lot of fake people and all but when there are fakes, that only goes to show that there are real people whom these imposters are trying to copy. So I kept searching, yes you guessed it. Youtube, books, masterminds, masterclasses, etc. I was looking for the solution to making money on the internet.

I have to be honest, I enjoy shopping online. I’ve spent thousands of dollars online but it was time for me to turn that around but I didn’t know how to.  I wanted something legitimate and clean. So, I stumbled and struggled to find a way. Finally, I did.  I knew I had my finger on something but I couldn’t really articulate the things I had discovered. I mumbled,

“um, yeah. I meet some people, I checked them out, they seemed legitimate. I went to their house, I met their children. I listened to their story. I decided for myself that I wanted what they had.”

What is it? They said, I said something that can change our lives forever.  I am still trying to figure it out.  Does it involve selling? I said yes. They said, we are not interested. I was taken aback. I said why do you want to write something off that you don’t even really understand?

I was crushed. But I was determined to figure it out and learn everything there is to learn.  Nothing will stop me from becoming who I am capable of. The rejection had me questioning my decisions at first but that didn’t stop me at all.  Truly, in life, you have to be ready to know what you want, what you are chasing, and what you need to do to accomplish it. Success in entrepreneurship takes courage. Launching out on your own is scary in itself but staying the course when the challenges and rejections begin to take heart, soul, and tenacity. Your resolve will be tested by everyone, everything.  Life has a way of throwing curveballs at you to test if your words are worth anything.

So, dear entrepreneur, stay true to yourself. Do what you need to, protect your dreams and when you encounter a wave of negativity and negative attitude, get on your surfboard and ride that wave to the top. And if you get wiped out, try, try, try again.

Let’s go to the top together.

Yours truly
