Do you find yourself sitting down, waiting? Or perhaps kneeling, bowing, praying that success will ambush you, attack you, and kidnap you, and make you an “overnight success?” WAKE UP!
Are you a member of one of those churches or let’s say cult’s of personality that your best prayer point is “effortless success?” WAKE UP! Success takes effort, tons of it.
Have you drained your bank accounts and smashed your piggy banks and taken all the proceeds to the Church because they’ve told you, “God will bless you in ten, twenty, fifty, and a hundred folds if you give your seed to the church?” WAKE UP! God is not a money-doubler.
Have you decided to let your children go hungry because your “miracle in on it’s the way and the Pastor and church needs your money more than your children do?” WAKE UP! The equation is backward.
Are you so inspired doing nothing that you believe a “billionaire investor will swop in and see your talent and be so impressed he cuts you a million-deal at your brilliance? WAKE UP! Start grinding.
My dear, believer (whatever you believe) listen: In case you have been sleep-walking or living among the walking dead, there is no price to be won in spectator sports. Only the person who is courageous enough to enter the arena can claim the price. Only those who compete in the race of life even have the chance to win. Yes, miracles happen but they are the exception and not the rule.
You must wake up every day with conviction in your heart, determination in your eyes, and zeal in your soul that today, you will not be denied. What is it that you want in this life? You have to go for it. Do not sit down and wait for life to happen to you, you have to command your day, command your attitude, command your life. Never ever surrender your power to anyone or anything. Don’t allow anyone to live rent-free in your head or in your life. Take charge! Be strong! Be Courageous! And like one of my mentors says; “God does not make junk, so don’t be the first.”
You are created to do great things don’t become a prisoner in your own mind.
Your friend,
L. Manya
