DREAMING IS FREE!

When I was a little girl, they used to say that “children are the future of tomorrow.” I remember adults asking questions like, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” As though at such a young age I knew anything about what that meant. But in hindsight, they were asking me to dream about the future. I wanted to be a police officer, an astronaut, a doctor, a teacher, but never for once did I think about being an entrepreneur. Because where I grew up, starting a business was what you did if you couldn’t afford to go to college. It was what people did when life wasn’t going their way. If you were born with a silver spoon, you went to the best schools, had the best of everything, and then end up chairing your family’s big company. That was the way of privilege and the life of the educated-elite we all aspired to.

One of the best things I miss about my childhood is the careless abandonment to be free and happy and play without any worry in the world. Growing up realizing all the things you have to deal with and taking care to steal the thunder from dreaming. Wouldn’t you agree that growing up every morning rushing to get ready for work, long hours at work, bills, bills, bills, responsibilities, student loans, car loans, mortgages, etc? They just have a way of choking the life out of dreams and desires. But you know what, as I began my business, and plugged into my mentors, I realized that dreaming is free. This is the only thing I can do that doesn’t cost any money or require much time.
Wouldn’t you agree that in your dream, you are everything you know you can be? I mean, how big or how little is your dream? How bad do you want it? Every day, I realize that I am only limited by myself and by my dreams and by my imaginations. What I can accomplish is all in my mind and I have the power to create my own future and destiny.

My dream is to create a life of purpose and significance and help everyone in my life accomplish the purpose of their lives. I believe everyone has a purpose and some partnerships in a person’s life can either help you achieve your purpose or permanently derail you. So, dream, dream big, dream with careless abandon, dream like a child, have no fear, have no limitations, choose to dear, choose to dream, choose to live a life of significance.
I want to encourage you to look for people who believe in you and support you in all your pursuits. So I invite you to work with me, learn from me, team up with me, and together, we can change the world by changing our world first and doing good. Apply to work with me and I look forward to hearing from you.
